Leverage installation instructions:
Remove the old levers and visually inspect them and compare them to new levers (Shorties or Regular). Occasionally we find that used bicycle handles and/or switch assemblies are replaced by different bicycles that are set after the wreckage.
Our leverage is a direct OEM leverage alternative to the listed brands.
After ensuring that they are suitable, lubricate the Pivot Point with the new lever. Place the front brake and/or clutch assembly piston - compress the brake actuator pin/post (if any) and slide it into the corresponding rod hole (see figure).
Reinstall the clutch cable, lever bolts and lock nut. Do not overtighten the lever bolts or lock nuts; use the service manual to instruct the Lbs of Torque to tighten properly.
As with any motorcycle lever, OEM, test lever performance before riding.
Make sure they are installed correctly and allow normal braking. If in doubt, please install the lever professionally.
