The Akku test strips check asset No. 100 (Accu-Chek Active) are designed to quantify the glucose level in fresh capillary blood. Can be used in conjunction with Accu-Chek Active glucometer people with diabetes at home, as well as medical workers.

Analysis with glucose meter

The measurement process is as simple as possible and allows you to determine sugar in seconds whether you are at home, at work or on the road. All you need is to insert the strip into the glucose meter and apply a tiny drop of blood (1-2 m), and after 5 seconds the screen will appear the result. The error of the test does not exceed 2,5%-such requirements are applied to laboratory equipment.

Analysis without glucometer

There is also an alternative option to check the blood when there are some strips, without using a glucose meter. It is enough to apply a drop of blood on the Strip and after 10 seconds compare the color of the control field with the scale on the tube. With this method of control, the error will be within 20-30%, but this is enough to understand whether the sugar is normal or there are deviations.
